Played 27 holes today with the 3.0 (yellow). I have always liked Snell balls but the 3.0 has taken it to a new level. Overall I got a noticeable 1/2 club bump in distance with my irons. I won’t exaggerate and say I got a 10+ bump in yardage with the driver but on well hit drives I got about a 5-7 yard increase.
I can’t say I noticed a big difference in spin/bite over last years Prime ball but I have always felt Snell balls have provided very good bite on different iterations of balls through the years.
Durability has improved significantly over last years Prime ball. I played 15 holes with the same ball and only took it out of play when I scuffed it hitting a tree.
Really glad you brought the yellow ball back, Very vibrant color and since I turn 67 in a couple of weeks I can use th extra help the visibility gives me in tracking the ball.

I’ve been quiet since I’ve played several rounds now with the new 3.0. Now I’m not quiet. The ball is excellent. Feel, performance and durability are very very good. I appreciate the whiter brighter color as well. I can always tell which ball is mine. I’ve extensively put the ball against other “big name” brands and hands down, the 3.0 is my ball now. Tremendous job here. Ordering more. A LOT more. Thank you!

I’ve played the MTB-X the past several months and this ball is an improvement in every way.
- trajectory is fantastic
- feel is a great,
- durability is massively improved.
I’m curious to try out the 4.0 as a higher swing speed player, but after playing this new 3.0 for a few rounds. It’s going to be a hard spot to replace in my bag.
