PRIME 4.0 golf ball

I have been playing Snell balls for years, but had to move on to a different ball due to durability issues on the prior ball. When these new balls were announced, I was curious if that issue had been addressed. I was assured that it was, so I grabbed a 3.0/4.0 Test Pack as I wasn't sure which one I'd prefer. I pulled a 4.0 out of the box today, shot a 76, and put that very same 4.0 back in the bag ready to go another 18. So much better.

I had been playing the Chromesoft X LS prior, and the Snell 4.0 is much better around the green. I thought I'd miss the softer feel (which is why I thought I might prefer the 3.0) but I did not. The 4.0 feels solid on every shot. Chipping and putting is perfect. Not too much spin off the driver, but a ton of spin of approach shots and chips. Anyone want a couple of sleeves of 3.0s? I'm not playing anything other than the 4.0 any time soon. Great job, Dean.

I’ve got about 36 holes now with these and I like them much more than the prime x Ive been playing. The feel great off the driver and have a crisp sound with a a nice high trajectory. Definitely capable of being long. I drove my first par 4 with these at 295 yard ( wind at my back and a good roll) I’ve got a 107 mph swing speed for reference . Irons feel good and seem to stick the greens well. Chipping spin has been nice too and the cover seems to be more durable than the mtb prime and mtb prime x which seemed to get scuffed or cracked easily . Overall I really like them so far.
