I am a 70 yo with a 10.8 ghin. A good drive for me is 220-225 and straight with average height. I hardly ever lose a ball. I have been using a premium urethane cover ball ( Srixon Z-Star) for the last 10 years. Needless to say I don't hit the ball as solid or as long as I used to particularly with my mid irons. Most of my mishits leave me short of the green. After watching the Golf Ball Addict's review of the Snell Get Sum I decided to try them. I gained maybe 5-10 yards off the driver with a little more height and a softer feel off the face (all good) but now my approach mishits are not so short. Get Sum gives me more roll out. The down side is my chips roll out more, too. Not as much control as a urethane ball. I knew that going in so now I just have to adjust my chipping for more ball release. The ball does everything it is designed and advertised to do. I am very satisfied with the results I am getting. $16/dozen for 5 dozen and free shipping is icing on the cake.

I've only played one round with the Get Sum balls, but it sure felt like I was getting more distance off the tee. For a slow swinger like me, I need all the help I can get from a low-compression ball like this. Seems more forgiving as well, as I was finding the fairway nearly every time. In any case, there's nothing I can complain about, and for the price, I'll certainly be investing in many more of these... just ordered my second dozen this week!
